This painting is based off a summer afternoon stroll through the trails in Laurier off leash in Edmonton. It was a peaceful, secluded precious time we spent there as a family with our labradoodle Chance. There are so many trails and it is right beside the river. Many opportunities to get lost in time and take time for personal reflections. Our fog was able to explore, swim in the river, meet other dogs and just be free.

It is important to take time out for ourselves and find the places that rejuvenate us. For me and our entire family it is our own Edmonton river valley. In love!!
