Why and what do I paint?
My work is mostly Alberta and Canadian landscape in theme with some florals and wildlife occasionally. I have painted several series collections such as layered landscapes, comfort of community, music themes, rearview mirror theme, aerial landscapes, figurative, the list and inspiration is endless.
I have experienced all the places I have painted and my work is focused on the feeling and presence of the moments in the place painted. They are places visited with people important to me and are meaningful. They give comfort, joy, sadness, awe - depending where you are in your journey.
I make art because it is something I love to do and it feels natural. The process of experiencing a place and moment, then creating a representation for others to see, feel and interpret in their own way is truly special and what keeps me doing it. I create for those moments and to simply express. Please feel free to come and talk about my art with me and your experiences and moments lived at the place I paint.

I am an Active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA). As well as a member of the Edmonton Chapter of the FCA.
